The summer is flying, and we’re just a little over a month away from the start of the Fall semester! This month, we’re highlighting important reminders as you solidify your plans to return to campus in August and essential information for our incoming first-year students.
Assignments
New Incoming Students
First-year students have now received their housing assignments for the upcoming academic year. They are able to log in to their Housing Portal to view their room assignment and their roommate (if applicable). Students also received a link to Roomie to access a 3-D interactive model of their room to help plan and shop for their space, as well as other resources and tips to prepare for move-in day!
Continuing and Transfer Students
Any continuing or transfer student who is under the residency requirement and enrolled or re-enrolled after April 10 and before July 1 will participate in our Second Round of Housing selection and have received communication from our office regarding that process. Students enrolled after July 1 will be contacted by our office to discuss options and then manually assigned.
This year, the Second Round of Housing Selection will occur Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. EST. Our Assignments team will be available via email (), Google Chat, or over phone (336.758.5185) to assist students as needed.
